Render Bug

I'm totally frustrated.
The render errors when using Deep Shadow Map makes the whole application unusable - at least for me.
I have no expensive graphic-card and I do not make pictures with which I want to win a competition. I just want to render only a number of halfway appealing images. It is not acceptable for me, to wait 20 hours at each render-process when I'm going to use Iray. And also the raytraced light lasts 10x longer than the hardware rendering.
I am software-developer too. And wonder why DAZ publishes a new version with a huge drum roll around Iray. But is unable to fix a bug in the old render engine which is known for years.
Is there really no solution? I always use only one light plus the Camera Headlamp. I do not need perfectly lit scenes!
Thanks in advance, Peter

DAZ has no control over the 3dl deep shadow map bug as it is inherent in 3dl. I'm suprised though that raytraced is still slowing you down so much though. It has seen updates and improvements that sped it up to the point that most people stopped using mapped shadows several years ago.
The render engine 3Delight is NOT published/created by Daz3d.
Daz3d just has a licence agreement with http://www.3delight.com/en/index.php ...
Did you try raytraced shadows in the last versions of Dazstudio? It has gotten faster.
Outside of Daz Studio has there been reports of 3DL Deep Shadow enabled renders being incompatible with other softwares lighting systems?
Basically, even on the 3DL forums, the recommendation is DON'T USE deep shadow mapping....
i have a problem with rendering whenever i render my character
their feet for some reason doesnt show up in rendering but when i put shoes on they appear
