So, I've continued to give G9 a chance. I don't like it, but I know it's the future so I've been trying characters that look alright to me. And I know that core characters don't seem to be coming with Makeup materials and those are sold separately. But... why don't a bunch of them even come with any eye color variations? I wanted to root for Van Helsing today. I bought her even before my banner showed up to lower the price (annoying) but it's frustrating to see that she is just a set figure with no eye colors or other options. 

So I went back to check and looked at Angela 9, Freja 9, Genghis Khan 9, Ivar 9, Joan 9, Michael 9, Minerva 9, Olympia 9, Thimor 9, and Victoria 9 all lack eye color options. Just one more frustration with G9.

    Eye colors come in this. But I also needed this to help out the shine and lacrimals. I still need a third, more spectacular option, but I haven't found one yet. I finally found a body for G9 that I like (TX Madison at another store), and I was able to dial what I wanted from there using Daz Originals, Shape Shift, and Body Shaper (by SuperMassive at another store).

    I'm done being frustrated. I'm going to make G9 work because the expressions are a lot better than what I was getting from 8.1. And the load time is negligible.

    Aha! I was wondering why G9 Starter Expansion was just a bunch of eyes.  Now I get it.. you get them in the expansion and not every single character.  Fair.  

    I still have to buy the body morphs to fix my main's tummy.. that and a skin.  Weird looking a characters knowing all you want from them is their skin.  Will probably revisit eyes, once I fix the disapearing eyeball problem I have with my rig; was spoiled by G8 Flora's eyes.. little effort, great effect.

    Edit: Nevermind this question - mystery solved in another thread.

    Does the banner mention a reason for being issued? I'm curious as I have the toon bundles, holiday bundles, Genghis bundle (for the armor), and Greek bundles (Olympia and Medusa), but apparently that's not enough to qualify for a banner.

    You should check the one's I listed, they are very real looking, pretty damn good for free.
