What makes Texture Shaded Becomes Too Dark?
It just getting darker and darker.

    There's a light (or lights) in the scene and it's messing with your Texture Shaded view.

    To fix that, go to the menu at the top: Window > (look at the bottom of the drop down) click "Preview Lights" to disable it.

    if disabled... everything is totally black.

    Yeah, that's pretty normal which is why you use the preview light in those situations. Texture shaded mode does not support the same light as iray and so you cannot use it to confirm light placement and strength. The flip-side is that it is a lot quicker to work in for building the composition, moving, rotating and posing etc than iray.  You could try using filament maybe? I believe that is supposed to be somwehere in the middle although I haven't really used it much so don't know for sure. You'll have to tweak the settings to more closely match iray first tho - WPGuru has a Youtube video on that.

    I use it only for posing, not for light. Cos it's lightweight.
    Usually it's bright. But suddenly it's getting darker and then darker, I can't work at all.
    I mean I worked using the same scene. Previously it was bright, then why now it becomes dark?

    I have to the perpective view, if using camera view, it's too dark.

    Ok, I found the answer.
    I need to change the intensity of the headlamp of the camera.
    It has somehow an effect on the brightness of texture view.

    That has confused me from Day One. I know you are right but in my head I'm switching the "Preview Light" on and off. 

    Even then there are dark areas - especially with dark textured floors - so it is impossible to see if the feet are grounded nicely. That's the only time I switch to Filament because it is easier to see things like that.

    Strange. I have headlight set to Never, and I just found the other day that, if I go Window > Click to disable "Preview Light", it takes away the effect that I get when I add a DS light source (which suddenly makes viewing impossible) from the viewport, and all is good.

    Like marble, before I discovered that trick I would just use Filament. But Filament (to me at least) crashes DS a lot with newer DS products, like Genesis 9 and products that go with it, like dForce Wet Style Curly Hair. Up until very recently, Filament was always my view of choice until render time.

    If it's only happening in the camera view, is your DOF on? I just discovered last week that if the shot is not in focus, like if the camera went to .10 for the DOF for some reason, then the image is dark and when I move it to make the subject in focus, it gradually got brighter. Though that might not have been from the Daz camera but the cameras from IG Photographer's toolbox, I really can't remember if it happened for the regular Daz camea. But give that a try too!

    Yes, good point about the camera althogh it is not always DOF. Sometimes the camera focus is just too close so I go into the settings and set the focus distance to 400 or similar. If it is way down around 10 then the scene can get very dark as you zoom in.
