Skin deep: Can I dress my G8 figues up to the 9s?

Would anyone know of a converter product for applying Genesis 9 skins to Genesis 8?  I need to create a G8 'body double' for a G9 character in order to give it access to some of the G8 facilities which, as far as I've checked, aren't yet available to the 9s.

Or, failing a product, a tutorial to show me how to convert a G9 skin and apply it to G8?

There's no legacy UVs product which would enable you to apply G9 textures to G8 (yet?).

I never tried but converting from G9 to G8F would likely be a similar process.

Software like Ultimate Unwrap3d, Blacksmith3D and even Zbrush should be able to do it too

anything that has baking vertex colours as an option
