I have just started to get back into Daz after a few years away. So I am relearning and trying to get a handle on all of the new stuff that's come along.

I was just playing around trying to see what I could do . I used V4 and 3Delight to render.

Constructive critisim welcome.  I would like some more definition in the hair. And maybe seperate the hood from the hair a lttle bit?

I know I have to fix that part of the hair that dissapears into the cape on the bottom right. But i'm just too lazy right now. I'll get it to it later maybe.

I think the cape needs to come forward more toward the top of her head. Right now it looks like its barely hanging onto the back.  I have the urge to pull it up or push it down when I look at her. And welcome back!

I see what you mean. I can't really move it into a better position.  Maybe I can tug it into place with Dformers. I'll give that a try. Thanks.

    Thanks.

Been working on my Red again. I adjusted to hood. And changed some other things. The lighting, her oufit and makeup. I still have to work on the hair. I am thinking I may work on a lot of the waves in Gimp. And maybe adjust the color a bit too.

Thank you. Any suggestions for the hair. As I said I'm going to have to work on it in Gimp. Any parts you woul cut out? Add to, etc. Or any special techniques for hair that you use?

I know you said you're working with V4 but this might help you fitting the hair under the hood: http://www.daz3d.com/hat-and-hair-helper-genesis-2

That's great thanks. I gotta add that to my Christmas list. I tried Dformers and got some of it in better, but it's really hard with this hair.

Leana suggested what I was going to.  You can also work with DFormers in Studio.

You didn't say which outfit/textures you were using.  I can't place them.

Oh sorry . I am using the Morphing Fantasy Dress with Chohole Italian renaissance style textures. (Abito rosso nero) I changed the color a little to match the hood more. It's a beautiful texture.  I love Chohole's textures. The outfit for the first render is also by Chohole. It's Medieval wench in blue...but I changed it to red of course. ;)
