Custom visemes with lip sync?

Reposting this with a better topic line as it got no response earlier.

I've scanned YouTube for anything that does a better job of automated speech than Daz's lip sync and nothing seems to be much better.  I find a major flaw is the lips failing to close.  It would be somewhat improved if one could edit the visemes perhaps.. I've read you can customise the visemes in Mimic Pro but get the feeling his app is no longer current? Can it be done somehow in standard Daz Lip Sync?

Any other suggestions? Alternatives?
