Installs fine with DIM, you did something wrong.  Does other content install correct through DIM for you?  What is the Install path used in DIM?  Does the DIM install path match a library path in Studio's Content Director Manager?

  • Exactly which packages did you isntall via DIM?

Do you have the location you installed to listed as a Poser-format content folder in DAZ Studio?  Are you using the default location?

No, but you do have to place the base and all morph packs in the same content directory.

I had the same problem yesterday, I fixed it by adding an entry in the Content Directory Manager under Poser Formats. My content is installed on D: drive.

THsis is known to affect some people if anything goes wrong with their content settings; the DAZ|Studio Formats and Poser Formats sections of the Content Directory Manager must both point to the same folders. DIM and DAZ|Studio do not talk to each other, so any problem must be noticed and fixed manually by checking the settings in both programs.

    ok found the reason

my DIM reseted the installation path to default which i do not use normally

i have one special folder for all content coming from DIM

then i build my categories from there

    now the question again

are there files that need to be installed to default download folder ?

  • fixmypcmikefixmypcmike Posts: 19,601

No, you aren't required to use the default location

FYI I did finally have to load the Base for v4 manually.  The installer loaded the skins but I had to the base and morph++'s manually
