Posting images in the Gallery

This has happened to me several times now. I uploaded an image, but it never shows up in my gallery. Is it possibly the file format that's causing a problem? I think I was using .jpeg as that's the requirement for another site that I upload images to. I tried to find something on the DAZ website but must not be looking in the right spot, because I can't seem find anything about it. Help?

JPG should be fine. It probably would be helpful if you listed all the steps you did in order to upload it. Like: after hitting "save", did you also hit "publish"? Is it not showing in your gallery? And so on.
Are these the first images you are trying to publish in your gallery? If so then they will go for moderation which will delay them showing up for ~24hours (or maybe more over the weekend).
If it has been longer than that then maybe check to see if there is any feedback from a moderator - I don't know if you would get an email if they had held it back for any reason but given that email nottifications are currently broken for the forums there is a chance that these are broken also.
Did you save and click the publish button?
Do the image follow the TOS guidelines?
Are they Jpg and/or png?
Thanks for the tips and boy do I feel stupid. I clicked save but didn't click on publish. But I could have sworn I didn't even see the publish button. And I've posted images before. I think I'm losing it. LOL
Where do I find the TOS and the sizing specifications for the forums and the gallery?

Thank you Richard. Could someone also please guide me on picture size for forum and also the gallery in case the forum is not working w/attachments ?
If you are linking a gallery image to a forum post, you will want to set the width to 800 (or less) for it to display properly. Make sure the little lock icon is enabled (it is by default) so your image scales correctly and is not distorted.
Left side is how this image looks when the URL is pasted (actual image dimensions), the second shows the image scaled to make the forum happy (max 800px width).
Thank you very much SofaCitizen. I love the visuals! I copied this and put it in my Incase I forget folder.
