how do you ask questions about private promotions, like Predatron LoRez Rat2?

Okay, so I had a message today that I'm eligible for a Predatron promotion if I purchase LoRez Rat 2. Nice!

But, I'm putting old Predatron products in my cart and not seeing the promised discount. Unless the listed prices are *MY* discounted prices??? (But, I've not seen the system work that way with other promotions).

Usually, I'd expect to see a special coupon code for this, but there's no special coupon code in the Message when I check it in my Account.

The Meta question is how do I even raise questions about a perceived problem in these "special" eligibility based sales? I know not to reveal the discount code (if I had one) in a public post, but because these special, messaged promotions don't even have a name to tag them with, I feel I can only describe them and hope the PTB understand what I'm talking about.

hPromotion works fine for me. It does not work on items lableled "NEW" which is pretty typical. Everything else from his catalog I tried showed the expected discount.

Thank you for responding. Is the promotional discount included in the price you see when you visit the product page for the item? Usually, I see a price at the product page, and once I place it in my cart I see the discounted price. (disregarding tokens)

For example, I see "Enclosed Side Garden" https://www.daz3d.com/enclosed-side-garden with a list price of $26.95, which is crossed out, I have a big red "-30%" and a price listed as $18.87. There is no "NEW" banner on the thumbnail. Typically, when I would add this to my cart, I'd expect to see the price reduced by the discount of the promotion, but this is not happening - it's in my cart at $18.87. (no tokens)

That might not work for work as a test if you already own it. Or, maybe it's new but not marked new. Is your price in the cart (with no tokens) any lower than your price on the product page for Predatron products?

Ah, that one is a DAZ+ item and has also DAZ Original as vendor. Those are usually also excluded.  The discount seems to only apply to non-new items with Predatron as the Vendor (not DAZ original).

Thank you! That fully explains it. Of course, the restriction is not listed on the promotional offer limitation, and the term "back catalog" only implies "New" is excluded. But, I guess if someday they want to get precise about describing the offers, they will.

Btw, that Side Garden is a really nice product. I wish Predatron made more like that.
