Convert to DAZ3D from Poser... help me....please help me....

Hey. After a decade of using Poser, creating a series of comics and eventually giving up because, well... limitations, I started to dig around to find out how others were creating such great photorealistic stuff and my characters faces (bodies were okay, but damn, the faces!) looked like they'd been smudged on with crayon by an over enthusiastic child. So I crash coursed Daz, screamed, cried, but persevered and I'm now creating images I could NEVER have created in Poser. So I decided it was time to dig out the old sci-fi adults only comic and create it anew. Much money was spent. But.....

I've hit a brick wall. In my stories people's clothes come off. Can I find a shirt for G8M that opens? Nope. I've looked everwhere.

So is there one? Likewise coats for G8 F amd M. Everything else I have found. But I'm at a loss for my male characters. (Can we just raise an eyebrow here at just how much female undress morphs there are compared to male. What century is this again?)

Anyway, please help. I'm on my knees here, and not in a good way.

Well, the female-to-male product selection will almost-entirely be driven by the sales numbers (with a small percentage down to what each PA actually wants to make) so I guess you need more people buying the male stuff to encourage more of such things being made.

In saying that there is stuff out there - Everyday 2 for Genesis 8 Male(s) springs to mind, mainly because there is a version for both male and female. There is also Taking It Off For Greybro's G8 Jeans and Tee Male Edition @ Renderosity. These are both more TShirt style products tho.

For a button up shirt or coat/jacket that opens up that might be more tricky to search for. I do recall someone saying that those are tricky to make in a way where they look good both done up and open which probably explains why most of the undress morphs are for items that pull over the head.

Obviously given the name it is a man's shirt worn by a woman, though no reason why a man can not wear it. It has open and closed options, and can be dForced to get a good drape.

Close fitting items like shirts tend to transfer pretty well, using autofit, or scripts that do this work.

For clothes that can be taken off, look for the Aeon Soul 'Everyday 2' range. Think there are 5 or 6 similar stretchy clothes sets (some repeating the clothing with new morphs) that have stretch/dressing/undressing morphs included as well as poses that match. Regards, Richard.
