Merchant Ressource: G8F skin for FREE use and FREEBIE

Hi!

Afaik it is not allowed to modify the base skin of Genesis 8 male or female and reshare it for free (example: I make an alien skin texture based on those).

So the request is simple:

1) I need a texture for G8F

2) The texture shall be free and modification with it shall also be free to share

Anyone knows such ressources?

I have converted a G9 female texture to G8F, the texture is free to use in commercial & personal work, to post it as a freebie requires changes to the textures.

Waiting to see if my changes have the thumbs up of the original creator before I can post it.

This would be cool. And yes, I consider making the texture into a cardassian a change :D

The original creator has blocked my email, so can not get a response from them.

As such I would be a bit hesitant releasing what I have done with the caveat that the Original Ownership Statement still applies.

Was a series of coloured textures modified from the originals along with new eye textures, might modify them with patterns that would definately satisfy their original requirements !

In most cases a merchant resource, even if changed, can't be used as another merchant resource, only as a finished product, do sharing the altered version you have for another to alter also might be aganst their license. Most skins I have come across being shared as freebies for users to alter or share have been skins from PAs that they had no right to share in the first place, so be careful..

You can always start with a real skin tone colour; add your images and other changes to that.

I have one set here; Renderosity.

However it's easy enough to make a base skin colour selecting a colour from any skin picture. [avoid faces with make up though as what you'll get is the colour of their pan cake makeup]
