creating a pile of an object using dForce

I wanted to create a pile of an object, like a twigs, or pillows, or what-have-you.
First I looked and couldn't find an existing prop that met my needs. So then I thought I could apply dForce to multiple copies of a single object, and let gravity simulation do the rest.
So.. is this possible? And how do I do that?
I applied dForce modifiers to the object, and moved it above where I wanted it to land. But when I ran the simulation, the object wouldn't fall.
I guessing I'm missing something, but I'll be darn'd if I can find it.
Thanks in advance...

I would say no.
dForce cannot keep volume, so if you simulate a bunch of pillows, you would get a pile of thin pillow covers.
OK.. Pillows was a bad example.
But, I'm more interested in solid objects. twigs, balls, blocks, etecetera..
My issue is the object isn't falling. It remains where I originally put it.
It is something like this you need https://www.daz3d.com/fisio-physics-simulator
Thank-you.. perfect.. that's what I was looking for.
