Compatible Software for items in the shop
Hello,
When an item in the shop is described as compatible with Daz to C4D Bridge, Daz to 3ds Max Bridge, Daz to Blender Bridge, etc, but the sofware "Daz Studio 4.21" doesn't appear in the "Compatible Software" list, does it mean the item can't be used in Daz Studio?
Thank you in advance for your answer!

Do you have an example?

They are Poser props, so yes they can be used in DS, how much use the Poser materials or DS2 materials will be in DS4 is anybody's guess.
Thank you very much for your answer! So, if I understand well, every items compatible with Poser can also be used in Daz but without their materials, is it that?
What about the morphs? Can we use the morphs of a Poser item in Daz?
For example, does the shape of this item can be controled by its morphs in Daz?

Thank you in advance for your answer!
Most poser content will work in DS, with a few exceptions:
Regarding materials: it's not exactly that they will work without their materials, but the materials system is very different in poser so only a few properties will be read when loading the materials in DS. For example DS will read diffuse and transparency maps and colors, but not displacement or specularity maps. So you usually need to adjust the materials so it looks good in DS.
As for morphs, they should work unless they use the "PMD injection" system I mentioned earlier (which should be mentioned). There are also a handful of characters which use a special combination of morphs and scaling which doesn't work exactly the same in DS and Poser.
Millenium dragon 2 and its morphs does work in DS.
Thank you very much! Do you know ifthe morphs of the millenium horse le (https://www.daz3d.com/millennium-horse-le) are supposed to be used in Ds ? I tried but I don't see its morphs. I searched in the shaping section and the parameters section, but I didn't find them...
Only head morphs, for which you most likely need to select the head and look in the Parameters pane.
For PS buildings/architectural objects like that, isn't it pretty easy to apply DS (iRay) shaders (and maybe some decals etc.) to them with an end result often superior than the original materials would have provided? If they are dirt cheap I occasionally scoop up PS stuff at the store such as the example above (but never for that price).
