I've been meaning to ask for a while as to just who it is who does all of the artwork for the various 'on sale' items.....
.... Whoever it is, they've very good.

By PAs themselves or the people who support PAs to make these artworks.
I'm just and "Average Joe" user, but was approached to provide a promo image for a product. The recompense is bragging rights, and early access to the model. I had fun doing the image and was proud to see it in the store, but Life turned to chaos and I was unable to keep pursuing it. Some PA's do their own promo work, and there are actually groups out there that provide the service. I know one person who earns her living doing promos! So, there is no one answer, it is a whole different layer of reality out there.
Note: All this is also why "Every single item used in a promo image is not/cannot be listed" as the bits and pieces come from far and wide and a diverse artist base. I made a point of using as much of the PA's other items in the scene as I could as a courtesy to them.
My promo image is here: "Beach Conversation" image:

I'd wager they're also using canvases so the promos are probably composites and not straight renders. Some will actually say, "iRay Render - no post work" -- most don't. ; )
They are very good though!
As mentioned, The promo artwork can be made by the PAs themselves and other specialist artists and teams that provide the service. Since artwork helps market a product a lot of time is spent find the right ones that showcase the product. Gogger's most excellent turtle pormo is a good example.
I tend to make my own promos because its also part of the testing process. We keep working on the product until the promos look acceptable.
My promos are straight DazStudio renders, not post-work.
there is information about promo artwork in this thread Art of the Promo - Daz 3D Forums
Well, I'm glad to learn that there isn't just one (or two) poor guys that they dump all of this onto....
Thanks everyone
If OP is satisfied, just wanted to thank you for so many terrific products. Since I do story renders-- not an exaggeration-- your products, Faveral's, and Collective3D's are about 95% of my small city & surrounding areas. : )
Donation Bin a handy prop. Didn't know about bridge. Don't have one, but will soon.

@Gogger, I think you're being modest as 'just an average Joe.' Fun renders. Liked the butterflies and Mouse. : )
Thank you for the kind words @Tynkere , it is always nice to get some positive feedback. We do try for useful. If you have a link, I like checking out creative projects.
Your promo image is by far the best one in the product, for selling a user on the item. It is bright and intriguing. Great work. I hope your chaotic life has settled down.
That's why it made it into the Art of the Promo - Page 36 - Daz 3D Forums
Wow! I bought that product based on the promo images, especially yours! Great work!
That's where I first saw the image. Before that, I paid no attention to the product. Gogger's should have been the main promo, I think.
I'm not British, but I did live there for four years and so sometimes my "humour" can be a little dry, or hard to perceive - "Average Joe User" was a play on being a user of Joe Quick's products, for whom this turtle promo render was for (Mine was just the scene of the turtle on the beach talking to a father and a son). I'll try harder with my humor next time, but it made ME chuckle! <LOL>
Vast majority of the Gen 4 (especially with a DS render watermark), Genesis and Genesis 2 promos were done by Joe Le Gecko, not sure how much of the newer figures he's had a hand in though.
Very useful if still using sets I got when first into the hobby in 2018.
New products like Donation Bin also good example. Nice, quality prop. Long story, but I needed a modern top loading clothes washer for a flooded basement story. Plenty of "port-hole" variations and one top loading prop with coin slot that looked very similar to ones than come with a landromat set...
Ended up getting Washer/Dryer props at Turbosquid. Took a long time to find sweet spot for rigging doors. Professional or more experienced user could probably rig in a matter of minutes!
I don't know how much props like Donation Bin sell, but glad they're out there.

Laughing. Karma I guess. Had lots of fun with now defunct Random Render contest/game and guilty of truely aweful puns & play on words. Now the joke's on me. Good one! Wouldn't change a thing. :)
