I'm trying to make a V4 second skin I have the model but everytime I save it as a wearable its just a copy of genesis 9 again whats going on?!
A second skin is just materials, not separate items (a Wearables preset saves figures and props that are parented to the figure or its children).
I would save as a material preset.
BTW, cool avatar!
it is a wearable its victoria 4's uv and matereal zone wrapped over genesis 9 as clothing so you can use v4 mat poses on genesis 9 I already made a v4 uv set for G9 but the mat zone do not change making that idea useless but when ever i save the wearable all i get is a copy of G9 once i got both v4 skin AND G9 the only way I've gotten it to work at all is just to save the V4 skin as a scene but then use it like a wearable
I'm sorry I beleve the word i was looking for is skin graft not second skin I can never get those 2 phrases right
and thanks I'm quite fond of my avatar too I plan to recreate it from scratch one day in blender but I haven't fond the time yet
Is the Victoria 4 model parented to Genesis 9? Fitting doesn't count for wearables, only parenting.
i tried it both parented and not parented. so its clothing do i just save it as a figure?
nope that came in without rigging
oh i'm doing it all wrong sorry its been quite some time since i created a wardrobe asset in daz and iforgot pretty much everything
its working now
How did you get it to work, perhaps others can use the method as well.
