3DU Toon Cow "Legacy"?

Hi guys, I am using DIM to download the 3DU Toon Cow, and it comes up showing an extra download, Toon Cow Legacy (as well as the Poser version). Do I need to install the Legacy AND the main Toon Cow, please? Thanks!

    No, you don't need it.
Legacy files were provided for content released around the time where Daz introduced the .duf file format in DS4.5, they are a version of DS files using older file format for those who still used a version of DS before 4.5.

Confusingly, Legacy may also (rarely) be used for content that was released around the time an Iray update changed material behaviour - that mainly affected skin and similar surfaces, so there the Legacy versions will mostly be for characters.

    Thanks Richard! :)
