Found here, but can't find any info on who the character might be.

Will be eternally grateful if anyone can ID her, thanks!

According to this thread, it was customized on Kiko 8.1.
Thanks for the link to that thread. So I'm not the first to ask, which is no surprise, as she's simply perfection.
I had a look at Kiko and although there is some similarity in bone structure, the rest of her seems really quite different, which would imply a heavy custom morphing job, or maybe the person asserting that was wrong?
Anyone have any other insights?
The PA is a friend of mine, so I asked him at that time 'cause I didn't know who the character was either...
You may customize you character based on an existing one by using partial head/body morphs, blending, sculpting, etc, i.e. by all necessary means. So, yes, it could be heavily-customized.
There're some people who like customizing characters in such a way (incl. me)... if the texture maps were heavily modified as well, you could never tell the correct answer unless you ask the makers...
Hi Crosswind, thanks for seeing this, and good to know. Yes, I have two different face and body custom morphing add-ons for Daz that I have used to create my own characters from stock ones using the various dials, but it can be hard to recreate an exact look from an existing set of photos.
Could you ask your PA friend if they'd be willing to send me the custom character? I'd be more than happy to pay for it. She's so lovely I just have to have her!
I'm sorry they would not do that as per users' requests. I would suggest use 200 Plus, Shape Shift, HSTW Morph Kits, etc.. We usually use these packages to heavily shape our characters (plus sculpting if needed)... For this character, it'll be really customizable.
Honestly I believe the face is post worked, which to clarify is ok because the product being sold is hair, not a character. They have done this a few times, you can find multiple products by them that have unbelievable promo pics. Promo pics that are simply too perfect to be pure renders. I am sure it is a custom Kiko, but the render has been further altered. Just as example, this promo:
The reason I say this is because the face just doesn't look like an Iray render. You can also see the hoodie she wears has something going on, the cord is disappearing into her, but the intersection is very smooth, as if it has been smoothed out. That thin grey line going over her chest on the right is supposed to be the drawstring to tighten the hood! There is another on the left, notice how it hangs off the shirt? Then you look at her hair, the actual product being sold, and see how it has pixelation in it. However her face does not have any pixelation going on. It is perfectly smooth, with only the compression of the image showing up.
To me, that adds up to a post worked face. Again, that is not against any rule, as the product being sold is hair. And it certainly works because the promo pics have generated a lot of buzz in the forums. Every one of these hairs with such an image has multiple threads asking what the character is. But ultimately, what you really want is the expression in these images. The expression is perfect! Well, there's a reason for that.
yeah look at the neck chains
the hair very obviously is a separate layer probably renderd as a png on a figure with Create Advanced Iray Node Properties applied and iray matt enabled
I could probably get something similar using img2img in Stable Diffusion especially using a trained model then adding the hair
Yes, I was thinking specifically of AI generation. Stable Diffusion can certainly do it, and many of the only AIs have inpainting features as well. You can make a mask over the face and have the AI generate a new one over it. It is very easy to do, and works well with Daz renders.
Sorry to respond so late to this. Thanks for all your input. It appears, for various reasons, creators like to keep their custom models close, perhaps because of licensing issues if based on others' work.
Well, anyway, I'm no stranger to customising my own morphs, so I'll work on this next one, based on the unique beauty in the original post's photo.
I don't see any similarities. Kiko's nose is very slim and narrow and her eyes are very wide. No match for me.
All of her alts have the same thin nose, wide eye look too.

This face is very hard to undo I think, even with morphs, especially the nose.
... if should you know there're sort of product - morph packages, e.g. 200 Plus, RareStone's Face Morphs Collection, HSTW Head Morphs, etc., and sort of software, e.g. ZBrush or Blender... that we always use for custmizing our characters...
For most of the cases, one or several blended characters are only used as a 'Base'... Even a user can well use the above-mentioned to heavily customize a character, let alone PAs... I've seen quite a lot works from them offline, so no need to doubt that...
The great thing about Daz and working with morphs is that, often, like in this case, you start out trying to copy another character or real person, but end up being "inspired" by it, and create something entirely new. Attached is my "Maryam" character, as a result of this. I used RareStone's Face Morphs Collection for Genesis 8 and 8.1 and Genesis 8 Female Head Morphs based on FWArt's "Dayana" figure. Her hair is Morgan Hair, her skin from JASA's "Flynn" figure and her eyes from Victoria 8.1.
Indeed ~ and she looks great! I roughly made a new one by using four character's head morph + Rs' Face Morphs Collection + some sculpting. Though it could be further refined, now it's already hard to tell which characters form the 'Base'. So that's the magic of Daz - controllable while having much more potentials...
Thanks, and lovely result from you also. I agree, that once you are mixing around so many different morphs, then it becomes hard to tell which was the "base" that was used, and I think it should be this way, because otherwise one's characters look derivative. I've seen this on other DA artist's pages. I try hard to make all my girls look different.
Thanks and me too. So let's keep refining them. Happy tweaking and rendering !
