Trying to fit Android M2 onto Genesis 8 Female
Hi,
I'm trying to fit Android M2 onto G8F to make a custom character for my library. M2 is rigged and I'm trying various options under the edit drop-down menu, but I can't get the character to fit right. Everything is fine except for the arms and hands. They take on a weird morph shape. Any suggestions?

A link to the product really would help.
If they are rigid parts it may work better to hide the arms of the converted figuer and either use the Geometry Editor to split the arm parts to separate props that could be parented to the matching part of the wearer's arm or even load multiple copies of the outfit and hide all but one bone - the latter would be simpler, but would consume more scene memory (they'd both be the same for rendering). But as scorpio says we really need more information, starting with more details of the product you are wanting to convert.
If it's anDroid M2 then that is a stand alone figure, can't find a product page for it, nor a vendor page, so I doubt if it's still for sale.
I doubt if it will fit to G8F without a lot of work on your part.
If it is this product tha you mentioned http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/46749/start, why not directly use this standalone figure instead of conforming it on a G8F?
No matter you use auto-fit or TU, you'll lose all custom bones on the droid...I guess the droid is in t-pose, if so, you have to tweak something before fitting... and there'll be lots of distortion on it when posing your G8F....
Technically they could be fixed as long as you really wanna do so...
If you want to give it a human head, or face, you could hide all but the head of the human figure and just parent it ti the android's head.
