Horo, I think the colors really make this pop.
mermaid : I missed your holed cube, which is very well done, great lighting.
Horo : awesome coloured object, perfect reflection and lighting.
Thanks Adbc
mermaid, NGartplay and adbc - thank you.
I forgot to mention that lighting on the object is only negative Specularity from the HDRI. There is some positive HDRI Effect but it creates only the shadows on the floor.
Experimenting with Light from Inside. The setup is a snowy mountain scene, with an Hdri from Inclement Weather.
The 1st is a normal render – Use as Backdrop – Add to Sky
For the 2nd one the Light from Inside was enabled.
For the 3rd one the Use as Backdrop option was disable, and the Light from Inside still enabled.
This is one of those issues in Bryce where I’m playing with the controls without understanding the option/concept-that's the fun part of Bryce.
Thanks Horo for the links to the pdfs and other info you sent me, I really appreciate it.
mermaid - three great examples, well done experiments.
The terrain is from Environments - Inclement Weather with a material from HRT 2. The tower was self made. Sky and ambient light by the Ernie-Clouds HDRI (free on my website under Raytracing > Resources > HDRI) and the key light by the sun.
mermaid, looks realistic. I'm drawn the the sandy material because I can imagine how I would fill the scene if this image was given for a challenge.
Horo, wonderfully done. Always interesting terrains.
Thanks Horo and NGartplay.
Horo - another superb landscape perfect lighting and material.
NGartplay - that's not a sandy material, it's the same snowy material, the scene is lit by "Light from Inside" - option in the IBL tab
Wow, mermaid, what a great result you got from just changing the lighting.
Thank you NGartplay and mermaid.
mermaid : interesting experiment, good results.
Horo : A great hilly environment with superb materials and sky.
Thank yiu adbc.
Thanks adbc
I used one of AgentSmith’s objects, gave it one of Hubert’s material and lit by an Hdri from Deep Space 2.
mermaid - I just saw it it the galleries here. I like the idea and the outcome of your work. This is a very beautiful and uncommon scene.
mermaid : cool idea, very beautiful colours on the object and awesome background. I like it very much.
Something close to mermaid's idea : I used 2 objects from MatCreator, HDRI sky ernie clouds, sphere with transparent material, 1 radial light, 1 plane with a mirror material.
adbc - extraordinary render, very interesting shapes and beautifully presented.
Two objects from Fifty Funky Shapes and Fifty Funky Metals with materials from 50 Metals - The Treppenhalle Set, two reflecting spheres and the ground plane with my own material. Light by an HDRI from the Seamless Texture Mix and HDR Lighting - Set 1. Lit by the Obscure Light method (see on my website: Bryce & 3D CG Documents > Memos > Lighting > Obscure Light).
Wow Horo beautiful render, love the colors, thanks for the comment.
Adbc - lovely render, well done, thanks for the comment..
Horo : fantastic objects, beautiful colours and reflection. Thank you for the comment.
mermaid : Thanks for the comment.
Thank you mermaid and adbc.
mermaid, love that. The material really rocks it.
adbc, your image tells a story. That is so cool. I thought that it was a fractal at first.
Horo, the lighting is so good on these objects. Feels like I could pick one up.
NGartplay - thank you. Yes, the inner parts of the objects are also lit without any additional light source. The obscure light method is a very good method David Brinnen had discovered and developed.
Thanks NGartplay for the comment
NGartplay : thanks for your comment.
Horo, Mermaid, Elektro-elvis, adbc: Nice works again. Sorry for not reacting on each one.
Nice to see you, Hansmar and thank you.
Thanks Hansmar
Hansmar : thank you and....Nice to see you !
The terrain is from Environments - Inclement Weather with a material from HRT-1. Part of the sky and ambient light by an HDRI from HDRI Enhanced Skies, additional clouds from Object Clouds 2D & 3D. The moon is a white sphere and the key light by the sun.
Horo – another amazing render, very beautiful.
I used one of the source files from Hi-Res 2 and gave the terrain the Office Building material from the presets – the result this abstract.
