TheAntFarm's MAG 2 Robotic Arm Help Please: Solved Thank you

HeadwaxHeadwax Posts: 9,988

Hi, Carrara user here trying to get a handle on this.

http://www.daz3d.com/m-a-g-2-robotic-arm

I get the same error in both Studio 4.7 and Carrara 8.5 - that the programs cant find dsf files.

For example in Studio clicking on the MechArmL in the content library I get an error window

saying cant find /data/TheAntFarm/MechArm/MechArmLeft/mag2_208711.dsf

When I go to my folders though, the file is there.

I'm on windows7 and know nothing about Studio at all.

Am I supposed to point Studio at the file?

Thanks for advice

cheers

Is the folder that contains the Data folder listed in DS as a DS-format content folder?  What's the full path?

How would I check this? Sorry to be a numbskull ;)

You need to add "E:\MyDaz3dLibrary" under both Daz Studio Formats and Poser Formats in the Current Directories
