JPG Textures not displayed in DS 4.21 Content Library

I installed nirvy's Softly Senuous in DAZ Studio 4.21.0.5 and find that the .jpg textures do not appear in the content library. When I browse to that folder (DS launches Windows Explorer), the .jpg files are displayed; they are there! Somehow, whatever the reason, DAZ Studio does not display them in the content library. Has anyone any ideas? Thank you very much.

For the record, I don't think the problem lies with nirvy's product. I'm betting the hiccup is caused by some glitch in DAZ Studio.

Images are not emant to appear in the content library, they need to be applied via Browse from a mapped property or drag-and-drop from a file browser onto a target. If the product iss et up for direct application in DS then you shouldn't even see the folder with the images, and you should have a folder with presets.

Thanks for your speedy reply.  I've grown used to counting on you, your diligence is very much appreciated. I'm sure, however, that I don't know what "emant" means. And, frankly, I'm pretty sure I've installed the product correctly. The dress appears where it should and there is no mat presets folder. I have a feeling that the textures should be .duf files, which thought puts the ball back in nirvy's court. And thanks again.

  • I get it now. "meant!" I'm a little slow on the uptake, as even my closest friends have observed.

I got a little chuckle lately when Richard posted explaining to me how to enable the spell checker in the Daz forum. Clearly, the doctor doesn't take his own medicine. LOL With or without typos, Richard's posts are still the most valuable in the forum.

Hmm, that's not even a Daz store product. You'll probably have to go to Renderosity for help if the product is missing preset files or has other packaging problems.

When you're right, you're right! We'd be lost without him.
