How does golden ticket work?

I'm looking at this offer: https://www.daz3d.com/2023-premiere-artists-sale#golden-ticket

It states: Use Coupon Code FREE-GIFT and buy any Golden Ticket Item OR Debut New Release to get 1 Gift Item for FREE*† * Items must be in cart simultaneously for discount to apply.

Attempting this, I clicked "shop all gift items" then chose two and entered the code. I saw no discount reflected. Can someone tell me step-by-step the process?

It is one free item, so you need one free item from the linked category plus a Golden Ticket or Debut New item in the cart.

Today (up until 11:59PM Utah time), three items count as Golden Ticket:

• https://www.daz3d.com/pw-cliff-house ($3.99, or $2.99 if you're a Daz+ subscriber)
• https://www.daz3d.com/adventure-animation-kit-for-genesis-9-81-and-8-male ($4.99, or $3.99 if you're a Daz+ subscriber)
• https://www.daz3d.com/chb-charlotte-for-genesis-9 ($4.99, or $3.99 if you're a Daz+ subscriber)

You need to have one of those items in your cart and then, you can chose ONE item among the selection on this page: https://www.daz3d.com/enjoy-a-free-gift

Then and only then, with both the Golden Ticket and the item you selected in your cart, you can type the coupon FREE-GIFT.

It can take a bit of time for the coupon to be succesfully applied. As an example, I regularly have an error when I'm applying a coupon but usually, the cart will refresh automatically and the coupon is then applied: the Golden Ticket's price will stay the same (from $2.99 to $4.99) and the other item should be free.
