M4 clothing won't parent to M4 character.

I've been regressing backwards buying G2, Genesis and most recently M4 but I can't put any clothing on him Do I need to do something different than what I do with the later characters.

    Figure selected, right-click on clothing and apply the "fit to" with parent in place checked. It wasn't always an automatic thing way back when.

    you may need to get a clone for M4

    Most Poser conforming items don't auto conform ("Fit To" in DS) to the selected figure.

    So you either need to do it manually in DS (and Poser), or open the CR2 in a text editor, search for "conforming" and change the 0 you find there to a 1, then save the file.
