I hope someone can help... as you can see in the pictures the displacement maps are OK, there are no seams.
But in some situations and only with translucency enabled seams are visible. I believe this is happening
because iray is splitting the mesh, I had the same problem with mental ray many years ago!
In mental ray though there was an options to avoid this problem (basically moving only the vertices
without modifying the topology). It is possible with iray?

Moving the vertices without modifying the topology is what displacement is. Iray doesn't unweld edges unless there is no smoothing applied - which wouldn't be the case for a human figure.
Make sure, the ears map and the face maps have exactly the same displacement values and maps.
Thanks for your help. I believe iray use tessellation displacement which modify the topology. Also I don't get those seams in Blender. The model is Genesis 9, ears and face are in the same uv tile.
