Is there a hidden forum for PAs only? Post this thread there. Or email the link for this thread to PAs. I'm going to scream if we get one more "new" type of cyber sci-fi suit or Mad Max outfit.

...being involved with fairly gritty Cyberpunk stories and a role play game, I avoid most of the "cyberpunk" outfits I see here.   Last thing you want in the shadows of the "sprawl" (city) is to bring extra attention to yourself.  I just cobble things together with other types of clothing that would be more appropriate.

None of that neon glow in the dark stuff which says "aim here".

This is the only one in the store I actually like and bought.

The problem with these threads, at least for me, is that I always eshuffle my ideas - having made the first post I've now thought of Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Noir, and the sixties/early seventies (especially the mod style - like the non-catsuit outfits from the Avengers, for example)

I have always wished for a environment/hdri set based on Maxfield Parrish.  I am thinking columns, stairs, temples, rocky outcroppings, vases, lanterns, and highly saturated hdri's with billowing clouds.

Oh my, YES YES YES!  heart yes heart

I'd like clothes with palpable thickness, especially for knitwear. Range of sweaters an cardigans, for men and for women. (Waiting to see if Dogz produces school uniforms for  Genesis 9.)

I'd really love to see more tribal/native/prehistoric.

Body paint (LIE preferably rather than geoshells), clothing, environments, etc.

It's difficult to find anything suitable while the sci-fi market is completely over saturated.

Edit: and I mean "real" tribal clothing, not a fashionable bikini with high heels!!!

In many threads like this I have brought up realistic futuristic, normal sets, clothing, transportation. Where we will evolve our current clothing and lifestyles in 50, 100, 200 years? Especially if we don't manage to consume our civilization in war, and find a way to save the environment so we can feed the world and not fry ourselves and choke ourselves to death. Or the reverse, how we have to live to survive in a hellscape of a destroyed Earth.

I read news reports of clothing being designed for high temperatures, loose, flowing designs that cover your body, allowing air to move and cool you off. Protect against skin cancer. Still clothing needs to deal with the working man or woman out in open, being sun-baked and not be able to be caught in gears and trapped.

Homes, as prices soar, smaller footprints, less is more, and more creative ways to store what you have. And not everything has to be gritty, grimey or semi-destroyed. No matter the era or culture, folks like to have beauty.

Real people, real clothes, real world brought forward in time, just as we would love it taken back in time. Please.

  • Genghis Khan is what convinced me to try Genesis 9. Love the character!  But what I can do with it is limited because we have almost zero appropriate clothing for supporting characters. We need clothing for lower-ranking soldiers, females, and children, and we also need scenery like yurts/gers, etc.

Characters with proper epicanthic folds would be very welcome. We already have plenty of Asian characters that have the "post cosmetic surgery" look, but very few that look natural. It's also a common misconception that Asians generally have flat, wide noses. If you watch Asian shows, you'll notice that many of them (across the different groups) do NOT have flat noses. High nose bridges, narrower noses, and Roman noses are actually quite common and are also seen frequently in ancient Asian art.

I bought that as well, I'll also get the waitress outfit as it looks like it would work for a nurse without the apron.

I've noticed that there's a renaissance instruments set in the store that has a hurdy gurdy and other stuff so that's another off my wants list.

  • I'd like a sighthound for the DAZ Dog 8.

I'd also like a Ghillie suit.

I'd really really REALLY like a good womens' coat with nice tailoring and appropriate thickness which has some morphs to adapt it to 1930s, 1940s and 1950s general style. From what I now, this should be quite possible without much hassle. I'm trying with existing coats myself atm, and things like broader shoulders for 1940s are quite easily achieved via Mesh Grabber or Hexagon, but I can't, f.i., add material into a lower section that is cut too narrow, and I'm running into loads of trouble trying to get the collars to close properly. Yeah, that would be an important characteristic of such a coat: it is CLOSED or can close up to the neck, because people actually wore their coat for warmth back then, not just fashion. I would love that soooooo much ... Just like a simple thick tweedy coat, you know ...

Potentially very useful set depending on how well it behaves when you *don't* use dForce on it. I'm always going to welcome a skirt of a decent lenght and reasonable shape that can probably be used under a random jacket.

The "band" jacket/tunic looks like it could be useful, too. And the boots are something that a person could walk in.

    It's also *really* seasonal.

This outfit reminds me of the ballet outfit for G8M: https://www.daz3d.com/holiday-ballet-outfit-for-genesis-8-and-81-males

More fantasy than historical, but if you are not obsessed with extreme accuracy it could serve as a 19th century military uniform.

One of the reasons I created an entirely new world in which to set my story series is that I didn't want to get bogged down in "The 15th Whillickers Regiment didn't have yellow epaulettes until after June 1817" type of debates.

    Yes, this.heart

I would like to see more stuff that people (especially young people) actually wear. Oversized hoodies and sweats, and loose bulky, every day clothing. Week-end wear. Comfort wear. As well as actual places people hang out. Like bars, pubs and coffee shops. Maybe even common places like modern libraries and post offices and family restaurants.

    I would like:

A sixties version of sci-fi everything, clean, new, white, or bright colors like orange, aqua, hot pink, rounded edges, "mod," a little Jetson-esque, maybe a toon and a more realistic version.

Sixties style hair, big hair, flips, and mod clothes and makeup, not hippie sixties but gogo girl type with mini dresses with cutouts and latex. I know I could do it myself with shaders and trans maps, but if it was in the store I'd buy it.

Fantasy animals that are creative and beautiful or cute, not creepy or monsters, in colors like aqua or violet, delicate beautiful sci-fi/fantasy animals with long necks and legs, delicate, beautiful kind of like the old RDNA unicorns but new creative fantasy animals never seen before.

A realistic honeywaggon (trailer) for celebrities and actors. The one in the Angela bundle is nothing like a real actor's trailer. Celebrities don't cook in their trailer and that makeup mirror is laughable, there are separate trailers for hair, makeup, wardrobe, grips, etc... that I'd also like. Actually I'd like to see a realistic fully functioning modern movie set or even entire studio with all the trailers, soundstages, fake building facades, water tower, crew equipment, cameras, steady cams, monitors, grip equipment, cranes, dollies, lights, boom mics, lavalier mics, headsets, scripts, golf carts, craft service setup, etc...

Cat 9 with kittens and multiple breeds, especially long haired breeds. And morphable into big cats, lions, tigers, leopards, cheetahs, cougars.

More breeds for Daz dog, especially furry dogs, cute small dogs, poodles, yorkies, or furry large dogs like Collies and Afghans.

Realistic rabbits and bunnies and lop-eared rabbits.

Cute realistic chicks, flamingos, owls, parrots, parakeets, seagulls...

Super creative imaginative fantantsy sets, worlds, clothes, kind of like in the new Emma Stone movie "Poor Things." That has amazing set and wardrobe design (but the designers get payed a whole lot more for that lol.) I loved the Barbie sets too and would like to see something like that but obviously different enough that it can legally be used.

Creative fantasy or sci-fi clothes that have not been done a million times, something completely out of the box, truly imaginative.

It seems like we get the same stuff over and over and over again. Is another pirate outfit really going to sell better than something brand new, never seen before?

+1000 for 'realistic rabbits / hares' by @Wonderland! I've been begging for them for ages. AM promised to release his, but he never did, unfortunately. Hypertaf's bunny and Deepsea's toony hare sure are very cute critters, but oh, what I would give for a real hare, to render running across the autumn fields ...

  • Magitech. I'd like to see more items that are sci-fi/modern tech based on magical principles. Or magical tools designed around technological ideas. The Adventurer's Toybox items have the style. It's not Steampunk, but more if traditional fantasy had developed equivalents to modern tech. Digital spellbooks, or moder firearms as designed by elves. That kind of fun.

  • More cowboy/western themed clothing, props, town buildings etc. There are a couple good clothing sets in the store but many of them tend to go a little modern or sci fi, and I would like to see more mundane style work clothes from the 1860's to early 1900's America. Wagons from that era would be cool, as well as plows and other work items for the horses. On that same note a new saddle set for the horse would be nice, one that has accessories like packs, canteens, a rifle holster and so on. If we can get this for the Hivewire horse that would truly make my day. We could also use a side saddle for the ladies and some riding clothes that would be fit for her to be seen in.

Honestly, and I don't mean to sound rude, but I think we need some more fix morphs for the Daz horse, that poor thing is looking rough and I have yet to get it to have even the slightest bit of decent confirmation. I can only use it for creature pictures because it does not represent a decent looking horse otherwise.

There is also a lack of bovine creatures in the store. I'd love to be able to get a good cow/bull/calf model that can be morphed into different breeds to suit the image. I don't even know if there has ever been a longhorn and that would be nice to have.

The store is full of barely there dresses and lingerie, we could use a bit more variety I think.

@Wonderland: petipet has made some very imaginative sci-fi creatures in beautiful colours:

    https://www.daz3d.com/animal-erfe

    https://www.daz3d.com/animal-jah

    https://www.daz3d.com/animal-krok

    https://www.daz3d.com/animal-roh

I actually have all those but they still are a bit monster-like, rather than beautiful. I'm thinking of something that could be a magical pet, very friendly looking, even artistic, glamorous, delicate... Something a Disney Princess or a fantasy sci-fi celebrity might own as a pet or ride like a horse. Not threatening or scary at all, almost dainty. I have visions of what I'm thinking of but it's hard to describe. Maybe I can try drawing it or see if I can get AI do something similar. The closest thing in the store to what I'm imagining is this: https://www.daz3d.com/fairytale-unicorn Maybe "fairytale' would add to the description.

When they first said "G9 can be anything!" this is what I was hoping for, some base animal with a zillion morphs but instead G9 is sadly really no different from every other generation.

  • I would like to see the vendor, who created Faces of the World morphs, update it for G9, and maybe add Indian (country) and east Asian morphs.  I use this feature on a lot of my G8 characters

Oh yes, I understand. It's true: Only two of petipet's creatures are predominantly aesthetic. He is welcome to design more creatures for his marvellous planets...

  • I'd also like to see more family morph options.  For example, you have a mother and father, with their own morphs, then maybe the child have a random combination of the two parents. I'd be okay with a script to start the initial combination (at a 50/50), then I could have the ability to edit specific traits (more mom's eyes, dad's nose, etc)

I agree, and this is why I made my comment on family morphs.  I have a need where I have 2 identical twins, and need the parents and grand parents, to all look somewhat related, with various degrees of diffences on the parents/grandparents...

I am also assuming that certain morphs, like rawart's G9 characters can be applied to both a male and female base?
