DAZ and MyFavorite Artists Genorosity

I couldn't believe my luck for such great discounts on some great products, like Ron's Brushes! by Deviney in past years, I could not open Adobe Paintshop brushes with my image editor. Now, with up to date image editor I can import and dabble away!  I may have over done it, but I foresee many hours ahead of me doing postwork through the amazing discounts from this recent sale. Also, some MartinJFrost, Alessandro_AM, Predatron, Stonemason, AeonSoul, really so many fabulous artists that madetheir products affordable to me. As I'm not a professional, I don't make any money, and my budget has been tightened by various things. I felt free in investing this great sale. Thank you to DAZ Aand all the artists who have made so many products available to DAZ members which will be inspirational.

..I concur, this was one of the better sales I've seen here in a long time.

As I mentioned on another thread it felt like the an "old school" Daz sale.  That extra 30% off was a real nice prezzie on top of the other deep discounts for PA items and older products  (particularly 40% discount on any new release which I actually purchased a few of), the Golden Ticket discount, and of course the tokens, all .which stacked with my Daz+ coupons.

The forthcoming PC..err, I mean...Daz+ sale (which has usually been my favourite) has some very big shoes to fill.

I agree one of the better ones lately. I overspent but picked up a lot of stuff with 80% and higher discounts. How do you not take advantage of that? My paycheck will know it though when I have to pay for this stuff :)

...one of the benefits of using a debit instead of credit card easier to stay within a budget as it immediately adjusts my checking account balance with each purchase (and I routinely check my account online throughout the month).

    That said.

Yes I spent more this past month on Daz content than I have in quite a while, but I still have a positive balance with my pension deposit hitting after midnight tomorrow.

I must agree that this sale has been golden! Many many thanks to the participating PAs for letting us practically rob them. blush

I've spent three times my normal monthly budget, but I got over 120 items (quite a few of them bundles) at between 65% off (and those were brand new releases) and 88% (oldest ones) before even using any tokens. I started the month with no tokens, but after a few days of "can't say no" bargains I soon had at least a couple to spend each day thereafter and occasionally clocked up 8 or more  - I wasn't really trying, it just happened.

I don't know whether to hope that the Daz+ Anniversary Sale will be as good (I dare not spend three times my budget again!) or that it will be a let-down by comparison.

I've enjoyed it a lot and spent more than usual, too. Maybe Daz has figured out that if they price things affordably, people actually spend more overall.

    Now there's a scary thought!

  • I spent way too much. I think I need an intervention.

I agree. The PA sale this year was a really great sale. Thanks PAs and DAZ.

I'm not sure how the DAZ+ sale could surpass it.

  • This was the best sale I've seen in my short (just over 2 years) foray into Daz, and I spent accordingly. Thanks to all the artists who participated. I bought a ton of stuff from many of you.

  • I've been a member since 2012 (or near that). If there had ever been a sale like this before, with so many 70, 80+ percent discounts, I would remember it.
I have to say that the wonderful, generous people who gave us this long-running, incredible sales event, have provided so many new rendering ideas to me, and educated me on so many possibilities with the software that I hadn't even realized existed, that I'll probably be spending more than "normal" here in the future, just to keep up with the ideas.
I'll say one thing, I'm now on board with Genesis 9, with great vigor:-) Wasn't interested at all before. Didn't know what I didn't feel a need to know!
So thank you folks, all of you, for your generosity and fantastic products. You have re-awakened the hobby of an old guy who was fading fast until now.
    Cheers!

I didn't get as much as I wanted due to budget (just bought a new i9, 4080 PC), but I got a few great things. I hope the PAs did well considering all the deep discounts. Thanks for all the hard work

Agreed, PA sale in the past could rarely get me spending a lot, this year was decidedly different

  • The sales this year were amazing. I bought a lot and hope that I can use it soon.

I also liked that some older stuff was not only available in Daz format but Blender and C4D as well. I really like it, when I do not have to transfer them myself.

  • Agreed here, too. I hadn't been buying very much for a little while, but this sale really was amazing. I almost exclusively bought G9 stuff and it was all sooooo affordable, my thanks to Daz and all the involved PAs as well!!!
