How to render moving/driving/blurry lights?

OK, Forgive me but I'm not really sure how to describe my challenge.
We've seen in movies and TV where people are driving and we have a conversation between two people in the car.

In the background the scenery is moving past. And at night we just see the lights tracing by, as if the light is actually a line.

My questions are:  Is something similar (without animation) possible in Daz?  And if so how?

I know I could manually change the focus length of the camera to just focus on the camera, thus blurring the background. But I doubt that will be very convincing.

Thanks in advance

Don't own it, but you could try this one: https://www.daz3d.com/blur-crazy

All of my images having motion blur were done in post processing (Photoshop).

    My most recent example:

It is possible to do motion blur natively in Daz Studio if you use the 3Delight render engine.  I learned this in another forum thread earlier this summer.

It takes a bit of trial-and error to start to get the hang of it.

Here's how I would do it:

    • Pose my scene with the camera showing the view from inside the car.
    • Use a canvas to shoot just the characters and the car interior, the view out of the windows will just be transparent.
    • Hide the car and its contents, and do a normal shot from the same camera to get the exterior.
    • Combine the two shots in Photoshop (or similar): put the exterior in one layer and apply motion blur to it, overlay that with the interior on a different layer. The composite image now has the interior still and the exterior moving.
