Help me get to Heaven!

Sorry about the wordplay in the title... wait, no I'm not.
Not long ago Heaven for Genesis 8 Female appeared at a huge discount and into my cart it went. She had a shape that looked useful, that emaciated, unrealistic, runway model physique from the 90's. However, the out-of-the-box product on my screen has a different shape, narrower at the top, wider below, more of a pear shape. It's a reasonable shape, but different from what's on the promo. Pic attached. The product page and the wiki don't name any other required resources. To get her looking like the promo images, what am I missing? Thanks in advance.

In my view it is the same character.
If you look at your poses compared to those in the promos, in the promos they twist her torso more than you do.
Yes, I saw that, so I twisted the sister a bit more and compared. Pic attached.
The pose is closer, but the shapes still don't match. It's most noticable above the hips and across the shoulders. There's something else at work here. Thanks for the feedback.

I would try to move her left hip downwards (so it is lower than the right) and her left shoulder up (so it is higher than the right).
The backside view is the one closest to a neutral pose and shows the issue clearly. The silhouettes of the two figures are different, without complex contortions to disguise it. All of the promo poses show a figure with one shape, and all the poses I give the character I downloaded are of a figure with another shape, and the two do not match. The difference is visible without striving for the impossible identical pose. My hope is that someone else has this product and can tell me their solution. I appreciate your taking time to reply.

The only possibility I can think of is that some unwanted morph or jcm from another character is being dialled in automatically. This can occur when another character in your library hasn't been set up properly but the reason I doubt this is the case is because it usually manifests in a very, very obvious and bizarre way rather than in subtle differences.
Still, it's worth a check: Right click your parameters tab and turn on Preferences -> Show Hidden Properties. Select Currently Used from the pane and have a look through the various controls being applied to your character. Zero out anything that looks out of place or clearly doesn't belong.
If this turns up nothing it would be worth resetting your G8 base just to make sure. Repeat the whole process for G8.1:
Load G8 base and with that model selected right click the parameters tab and click Zero -> Zero Figure. This may take some time to complete depending on how many G8 morphs you have installed.
Right click the parameters tab again and select 'Memorize -> Memorize Figure.
Now from the File menu select Save As -> Support Asset -> Save Modified Assets...
If anything is being overwritten you'll get an Accept/Cancel notification (click accept, obviously!) and you will be shown any currently used morphs that were zeroed out.
I really doubt this is the cause but it's simple enough to do and eliminates unwanted morphs as a cause leaving only the possibility that the author changed their product between creating the promos and releasing it. It has happened in the past but it's very rare.
Thanks for the advice. I may face that improper setup problem someday. I inspected the hiddens and found nothing out of line. I did the zero/save-as process on both figures. As you predicted, this didn't correct the problem, but as you said, it was worth a check.
Now my mind buzzes with silly theories. Maybe the girl did the usual celebrity/influencer thing and Photoshopped her publicity stills. Maybe they're older images, and her weight has shifted over the years. Maybe she left an Instagram filter on by mistake.
All right, that's enough nonsense out of me. If anyone who has this product can enlighten me, I'll visit your gallery and award some likes. Thanks in advance.

Then the conclusion is that nothing is actually wrong from a geometry perspective and you got the character as released. I have to say I'm struggling to see the differences as well but I don't own Heaven and I don't have the character right in front of me as you do.
You undoubtedly have some morph packs at this point so I think it's going to be a case of tweaking that model yourself so it matches the promos as you see them. Do bear in mind that PAs are allowed to render some of their promos with different software and to use post-processing work if they wish; I obviously don't know if that was done here (and it seems unlikely looking at your images) but there are often very minor and subtle differences between what the PA illustrates in their promos and what you actually buy. Someone ranted about a chin dimple some time ago on what was actually a very nicely made model (which I bought and which had a dimple!) but they believed the promos misrepresented their purchase (they didn't). Lighting, poses, Photoshop - all of it comes into play.
You've got the skills... you can rebuild her!
