Packaging Products (Some Info Wanted)

I have a few odds & ends I created & would be willing to post up as Freebies but I'm not certain how to package things correctly, is there a way to generate a product package from DAZ once I have my item imported into it & setup that I could just upload & post?
Any help would be welcome, Thanks.

All you really need to do is copy the files and folders used in your product and zip them up. So, for example, the zip for DAZ Studio might include the data, Props and Runtime folders. So long as the live folder tree is replicated, the user can just drag and drop the contents of the zip file into their DAZ Studio folders.
Razor42 has a very useful tutorial over at rendo which covers all you will need to know.
The only vital thing, really, is placing the folders containing your texture files and .obj mesh files (for created-as-Poser-format items) or the matching /data/ folder files (for converted-from-Poser-format items) in a folder that your copy of D|S knows is a Content Library location. If the files making up your item are properly set up like this on your computer, then they'll work when installed into any Content location wherever it might be on anyone else's computer.
This flexibility is one of the major strengths of the way D|S handles content files, but if you manage to break it, your item will never work on anyone else's computer except yours because the content is looking for texture and data files in folders that only exist on your computer.
Thanks I'll try and figure it out, I'm not use to using content outside of the installer...All the folders get a little confusing in DAZ :)
Here's a useful tip other content creators use, to cut down on the confusion of folders and folders full of folders and folders. Before you start making something new, create a new "work-in-progress" content location and tell D|S where to find it. Put all the bits and pieces making up your new item (object mesh, textures, etc.) in their proper folders in this new content location, and build it up in D|S from there. When you're finished, the final clickable icon in D|S will have proper pointers to all the files in your WIP location, and you'll only have one bunch of files in that location to worry about — less chance of forgetting an important bit or messing up the final .zip structure when you get that far.
Or including something you shouldn't...
