My DAZ3D UI Layout is Gone

I've been added my own custom layout little by little.
But now somehow it's gone. :(
I only have my old layout preset.
Is there a way I can get my most recent layout back?

    If you saved the layout previously, you can reload it with Window/Workspace/Select layout. If you made significant chagnes without saving it, you've learned a valuable lesson for the future. I'm not aware of any way to restore an unsaved layout.

    Always remember to save Layout... as barbult said.

    One possible reason for the loss ... Daz Studio takes a long time to close down ... some people speed up the process by closing it manuall in 'task master' or equivalent ... but shutting it down early does have some effects ... including losing the UI settings. It is a subtle thing that most people would not notice.

    I suppose similar could happen if the computer abruptly shut down improperly and stopped the program suddenly.

    Do you have any backups (of the AppData folder)? You could try right click on the .dsx files for Actions, CustomActions, Layout, menus, and Toolbars in

    %appdata%/daz 3d/studio4/

    select Properties, then go to the Previous Versions tab.
