Background used in promo for CRJF Sci-fi?

CRJF Sci-fi for Genesis 9, 8, and 8.1 Females

First of all this product is really amazing. I don't think I've seen a sci-fi outfit on DAZ that is anything like this. So bravo to the PAs!

I immediately purchased the outfit and the model used, which I believe is Ruo Xi Collection for Genesis 8 Female(s).

But is there anyone who knows what the background is from this promo image? I would like to purchase that product too.

The whole combination of model, outfit, and backdrop is really stunning!

that background looks like a crazy mix and match, some city block greebles maybe, I think I see petipet's spacestation tilted sideways and the cables from some factory prop that's really old and I think one from KindredArts HDRI Space skies. not sure where the floaty bits come from

In the foreground there is grass and flowers so thats a separate product. As Linwelly observed, there are multiple products being utilized. You could probably create a good background using AI, something I've started doing now. AI is faster, easier, and cheaper though you have less control. But AI provides what doesn't exist in the 3D world. Unfortunately for many, you need photo editing software and need to know how to use it.

Thank you I never thought of that. I wonder what AI app is best to create stuff like that. The ones I have tried create terrible images, but maybe there is one that is much better at this.

I use Firefly because it's included with my Adobe CC subscription. Since I sell images commercially I have to purchase the Rights to do that. I think MidJourney is far superior but then it's an extra expense for me. I earn enough to have play money but I am far from doing this for a living so I have to watch the bottom line. If you create images just for fun then knock yourself out, images for personal use have virtually no restrictions. What stymies people with AI is the text description. In real life I was a data analyst and understand how that technology works though I don't know how actual images are derived. FANTASY forest will give different results than DARK forest. Just saying FOREST will give a different result. For a background like your example you might want to try SPACE ALIEN CITY SKYLINE, DARK SKY. Use words like STEAMPUNK or CYBERPUNK to see what variations those produce. For those of you on the outside looking in, Gimp is a free software photo editing application that will allow you to merge separate images together. YouTube will have plenty of tutorials. It's easy to learn if you have the passion and desire to expand your art. If you're a 3D purist, nothing wrong with that.

    Thank you for that information.

I use DAZ solely for painting reference, so I create 3D renders and then use them as reference for my paintings.

Here's one I did with the Yeti HD in the brown fur with the aviator sunglasses.

Cool Painting - Bigfoot by Michael Creese

So there is less of a worry for me with AI maybe since it's not the end result, but I still want to be cautious when it comes to using AI for reference. I will probably just stick to whatever backgrounds I can render directly within DAZ. I have big library of assets that I have purchased over the years.

I would like to create some paintings using the model and sci-fi suit that I asked about earlier.

A lot of my newer paintings use DAZ renders as reference. I love the freedom it gives me to come up with new ideas for my paintings. And it's certainly a lot better than having to pay models and sign releases.

Besides, where would I find a bigfoot creature willing to be an artist's model? LOL Daz3D is wonderful!

If you're looking for backgrounds to reference, go to pixabay.com. Those images are in the public domain and free to use for commercial purposes.
