How to get rid of Smart Content metadata for unused stuff

Hello !
So I uninstalled all content of my Daz Library to sort things and reinstall only what was needed, using DIM ( I uninstalled everything because there was a lot of stuff that was freebies, or stuff from renderosity, not just DIM installed products.)
Now in my smart content, I still have products that appear as installed, but that I actually uninstalled and don't plan to use anymore. Is there a quick way to get rid of those ?

How did you uninstall?
Through DIM when possible and then manually deleting the content that was still in DAZ library, but I guess that was not the good way ?
Is it possible that you accidentally used Smart Connect at some time to (re)install products? Because if you did use 'Connect' to install stuff while it was already installed using DIM then this is something that could happen. And for the record: such a mistake is easy to make, when I first messed with Connect (and without fully understanding it) I also ended up with several reinstalled assets. You could check by looking up your configured 'Connect' folder, then check if there's stuff in there using your OS file manager.
There are 2 ways to do this: 1) right click on the content library pane, then select the "Content directory manager". The second method: Press F2 to open your settings, open the "Content" tab, then click the option at the bottom.
Unrelated to your isse but... I can strongly suggest to add a folder somewhere and use that as a dedicated library for your 3rd party contents. It'll make it much easier to clean things up when needed because your main Daz library would only contain products and the dedicated folder would be the only 3rd party stuff. It's easy: just create a folder somewhere, then add it to the directory manager I mentioned above.
Hope this can help, good luck!
Dim should remove all the files, but ones that you deleted manually, did you also remove the related files from Data\, Runtime\Support and Runtime\Textures?
There's also possibility, if you are logging in to Daz Studio, that products bought from Daz Store are installed also with Daz Connect inside Daz Studio and those you need to uninstall in Smart Content.
Thanks for all the answers, and the good suggestion about non-DAZ stuff.

I guess that would be it, but it seems I can only erase one product at a time from the Smart Content library, so this will be long, oh well... :)
If there was nothing ever installed via Connect but you still find 'residual metadata' in Smart Content, and you really want a clean cms database, the quick way is to use Content DB Maintenance to Reset Database... Then re-install the products you really need.
Worked like a charm, thanks !
Great! You're welcome.
