Lock Expressions or Poses

Noob question here;

Is there a way to select a body part and lock posing changes in en mass? For example the head - I posed the expressions in that I want, but now I want to change the overall stance using a preset pose. Unfortunately that pose also changes out my face expression. I can go in and lock each individual bit (eye, brow, snarl, etc.) but is there a way to select the entire head and lock that down? Or do I just have to make sure I get the body where I want it then pose the face? Or go in and lock the dozens of head elements that might change?

Specifically I'm looking at G2 males but any helpful answer/character would be appreciated. I tried searching the forum but the term "lock" seems to be a contentious element of the next release so I got a flood of responses that do not help with my particular problem here frown

Thanks for any input

    No...it's just the forum search is very limited, so even if it wasn't for the new beta, you wouldn't find much using it.

    But why can't you make a preset for the expression, unchecking everything in the save dialog, except the face and then if the pose erases your expression you'll be able to quickly reapply it?

    Most of the pose stuff is controlled at the time the preset is saved and if the face wasn't removed from the items the preset affects, then you'll get the reset.
