Looking for tattered old ragged clothing a homeless person would wear.  This was surprisingly difficult to find, any suggestions?

Finding such clothing will be difficult ... but you can make your own from already existing clothing. You have to work with shaders (think grunge, dirt, splatter effects, etc.) to make the clothing look older. Then add some tears and rips and ragged edges through transparency maps. It is some effort, but the final results can be pretty good. Also, you can try post-render effects with photoshop brushes as well.

** I am about to go to work, so it will be at least a few hours before I could upload a couple samples I have made of tattered clothing. Let me know if you want to see them.

Looking closely at people experiencing homelessness, I see they don't all wear tattered clothing. Maybe dirty, clean, and torn. Some have decent clothing.
