Using material suit by itself to convert material only

Is there a way to use g8-g9 material suit without the character converter? I just want to convert the g8 skin only, if not is there a product out there that will. I don't want to do post work photoshop gimp or any of that bs.

    You mean this and/or this ? I don't have them, but no reason they won't do exactly what you want to do, since they are sold as separate products as well as in the bundle with the character convertors.

    Your other option would be to use the Cayman Studios Legacy UVs for Gen3/8/8.1 Females and the one for Males - these add geografts to the Gen9 figure so that the skin textures for Gen 8 or Gen 8.1  (or Gen3) will fit - I have both and they seem to work fine. (I don't use character convertors, but I do like being able to use a variety of different skins on my Gen 9's)

    ETA: Both methods have their limitations - read the product pages really carefully before you choose which way to go.

    Edit Again: The ReadMe for the Cayman Product has a link to the User Guide which explains some of it's limitations which are not explained on the product page.

    Yes, the material suit works perfectly well without the converter. That's the way I've used it so far.

    Yes, the material suit works perfectly well without the converter. That's the way I've used it so far.

    I tried that a few months ago and it threw errors at me. Have you tried it in the past month? If so do I have to do anything different or specific or special to get it to work?

    Yes, with DTU bridge, check the plugin in here - https://github.com/daz3d/DazToUnreal/releases, search "geograft", as Cayman's Legacy UV series use geografts.
