PA Shout-outs and a List of PA Appreciation Threads

Anything that makes me render more, be creative, and enjoy the lovely things different PA's make is a good thing. I really like the idea of PA appreciation threads. And whether the PA's pop in to see what people are doing with their stuff or not, it's a nice way for us to see what everyone is making and share our enthusiastic renders using their creations.

I've only managed to find a few. Please drop links to any others you find or know of in a post here. Or create some new appreciation threads for your favorite PA's, add a render or two to set it in motion, and drop a comment here. I'll try and keep this list updated, so we can have a place to track those threads down, resurrect them as needs be, and share even more renders... 

UPDATE: If a PA appreciation thread doesn't exist or any of us is feeling shy about creating a new one, you can go ahead and use this thread to post some PA shout-outs along with a render or more of something you love from their catalog!

For DAZ+ members: The DAZ+ part of the forum had a great challenge for February 2024 for showcasing renders from your favorite PAs.

Jack described the challenge as follows: "This months theme is to create an image with either your favourite product(s) that you own, or one(s) that you feel best showcases a particular PA (or PA's) catalogue. Now's your chance to make the PA's feel all warm and fuzzy.. !"

    I like the idea. FYI, the Mousso thread has become another artists (Junk) showcase thread instead

    I think there is also a Joe Quick appreciation thread somewhere also

    Thanks FSMCDesigns, I located the Joe Quick thread and added it! yes

    I honestly appreciate Junk posting. Like quite a few others, I take inspiration from his journey into working on his stories and skills in composition and post-work. 
    I wish more people would follow suit and post too in that and other PA threads. It's nice to show how much we enjoy some of these characters and environments and what not. 
    And for selfish reasons, it's so much easier to push myself to be creative when I see other people being creative. And we also pick up so many more ideas and tips and techniques. I enjoy perusing the gallery when I get the chance, but I enjoy the more interactive community feel of the forums just a bit more, so yup, I'm all for people interacting and sharing (more). smiley

    Thanks for the thread!! I hope it doesn't disappear to the depths of the forum. Noe I'm off to add an image or two to the Linday appreciation thread!

    You're welcome DustRider! I too hope the thread doesn't disappear too quickly. Also hope more people post in the appreciation threads and create some of their own appreciation threads for their favorite PAs. I can't be the only one who loves to gush about my favorite things in the store and my favorite PAs!? laugh

    I've seen the renders you posted in the Linday Appreciation thread before, but in case I didn't say so before, they're really nice!! heart

    I had been meaning to update this thread to include a space for anyone that wants to give a shout-out to their favorite PAs, alongside a render or two showcasing some much-loved items from the PA's catalog. 
    Finally got round to it once I saw the nice 'legacy' challenge in the the DAZ+ members forum for showcasing renders using items created by our favorite PAs.

     

    So please use this thread for those ocassions when you feel the need to gush over that lovely character, shader set, prop, plugin, environment, outfit, you name it! Share a render or two, and link to the PA's product(s) and/or store page (so we can add even more things to our wishlist! wink)

     

    Of course, if you feel like creating a whole new appreciation thread for your favorite PA, that's even better! If you do, please post the link in here, and I'll add it to the list of PA appreciation threads in the first post. yes
