What is the best way to create bloodstains on clothes for Genesis 8 figures?

There are several products in the store that are useful for that like Grungy Threads and Iray GrungeWorx.
Retouching texture maps, LIE, geo-shell, Decal node, and post work for sure, all of them can do. Well, each of them or 'a combo' could be the 'best way' as long as you make it well.
BTW, Genesis figure doesn't matter, you just make the stains on the clothing.
I use MDBD Blood 'n Dirt - Geoshell Manager in the store here for general messiness and decals for more specific messiness.
I agree with the previous suggestions and want to note that Kindred Arts' 'Worx' series has products to mess up a variety of things. And if the blood on your clothes came from a food fight, you might be able to use https://www.daz3d.com/iray-wetworx on your clothes also. In addition to blood, a knock down, dirty brawl generally had grime of a variety of shades and V3Digitimes has https://www.daz3d.com/a-touch-of-dirt-for-iray for that. This is an older Iray product but is not generation specific. I know from personal experience on Christmas Eve, trying to break-up a fight between two guys and getting knocked out, grass and dirt stains mix with blood on clothes and body parts. I had a great bruise on my face for it later.
Other PAs from my shader collection include SickleYield and Fuseling who have done grime shaders. I have found at times, more is better because you never know what will come handy for a render.
