in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

The layer image editor. I have done a search and it seems that this is a feature build in to studio 4.8 but i have been screening the surface tab and the menu and i can not work out how to start this.

    Select a surface...and then (let's stick with Diffuse, but it is the same for any feature that takes an image map), click on the image and it should pop up a list of images, a choice to browse for new images/none and the Image Editor and Layered Image Editor, followed by a list of whatever images are already loaded into memory.
