Right. I'm thinking about Daz Studio 5

Daz has already stated that you will still be able to have DS4x running after DS5x is installed
so AniMate 2 and other DS4x features will always be an option.

Thank you Wolf! I've found a wonderful way of using the timeline with aniMate - preparation sessions that I use to build custom animations with. Works really nice.

Using partial aniBlocks with main ones

Combined with hand key frame animation in the timeline afterward

Storing helpful key frame animations as partial or full aniBlocks

Utilizing aniMate's key frame editor to alter things like the heing of a jump, perhaps how far and/or where the character lands and what they do after. Like Run, Jump (hero height) land on the chest of the Ogre, commence beat down.

I also make tools for such things that work in the Timeline - that's what I teach in the course.

This whole way of animating is very far from what I was accustomed to just a couple years ago - the skills I've built over ten years... this is completely different.

    I figured:

Okay, normal means of animation techniques are very much out of the question in Studio. How can I change "How I Work" to be more Daz Studio-centric?

After less than a week of thinking like that, the origins of my system became clear, but was in very early stages. By the time I settled down and built the whole system - thinking like a PA - into a single base figure (Genesis 3 Female) I was already producing custom animations MUCH FASTER and having a Lot More Fun than I've ever had using traditional animation methods elsewhere.

    It's crazy. It's Awesome. It's freaking FUN!!!
