clothing FBX/obj import -issue with surfaces not showing

Hi,

I have been having an issue with the surfaces of some clothing that I imported from CLO3D into DAZ 4.21 64 bit.

I tried both ways, obj and fbx, and in both cases, the surfaces are not showing. The weird thing is that I can see that the texture file are uploaded in the surface editor tabs.

It's probably some settings that I need to change but I couldn't figure it out and this is driving me crazy.

Did anyone faced the same issue at some point ?

    Use obj rather than fbx. You used the export options like below?

  • Irt may be normals - have you tried rendering?

    Might not have anything to do with the issue, but there has been cases when using non-US characters has caused problems.

    PerttiA is right. Do not use Unicode character and space character when naming obj files otherwise you'll lose the assigned texture maps. But it seems OP manually assigned the maps after import...

    Aslo check the project in CLO, wrong normals could be easily identified but even with wrong normals, textures can be still seen in DS...
