Fill light!
https://www.studiobinder.com/blog/what-is-fill-light-photography-definition/
Place your spotlight so you're happy, then use another light to 'fill' in the shadows. The second light you can experiment with parameters under the light settings until you get what you want, but it's usually less intentense (less lumen), and when you pick the colour of the fill light, often quiet a dark, saturated color, like a dark red brown (depends on your main light source, what contrast you want).
It also helps if you can add a dim HDRI.
Oh, and I haven't yet purchased a perfect 3 point product (you're always going to want to customise things for your set and poses), but my 'lazy' starting point products:
https://www.daz3d.com/paper-tiger - all the true illusion products hacve great HDRIs, and some handy render settings for things like whitepoint, quality etcs. Most come with lights (all?)
https://www.daz3d.com/elianeck - I've been collecting Elianeck's light kits because they're great for quick lighting inspro
https://www.daz3d.com/render-studio-3--hdri - great for a quick infinity screen and some basic lights (too bright for Genesis 9, but it's easy to knock them back)
https://www.daz3d.com/iray-winter-light-kit - weird recommendation, but I love the HDRIs and setting in here
HDRI Haven - free HDRIs, really nice for lighting
There're still shadows but they used mesh lights ( increase values on Height and Width of spotlights ) to soft the harsh shadows. You don't really need any product, it's easy to set them up.
Hey there, as a rule of thumb i start with a good HDRI then use spotlights with tweeked settings to Fill / Flood / Highlight / Diffuse - HDRI's i mainly use are https://www.daz3d.com/cake-one (click and render) as a starting point. Remember to always check your camera lighting too. sometimes its your friend sometimes not so much.
Hope that helps x
Try Vignetting, which you can find under Tone Mapping.
Adam Thwaites has a free Light Preset that uses vignetting, search for "Noir HDR" on his site.
