Dforce Weight Maps nodes reversed?

When creating a new weight map, it automatically starts the whole item at all red, 100% active, is it possible to swap it to grey, 0% active, via a hotkey?

I'm almost certain I saw it on a video somewhere.

  • A weightmap for what? Joint weights are nomalised - unless you turn the option off - the sum of thw eights on a particular vertex must be 100%. For a dForm the starting weights will derive from the effect of the Field node.

I assume you mean the weight on dForce Modifier Weight Node. If so, Alt + Shift + G with the weight node selected, Tool Settings - select the map (Influence Weights or the one you're using...), RMB-click in Viewport, Geometry Selection - Select All, then Weight Editing - Fill Selected with 0 value.

Then refill or repaint as needed. There's no hotkey BTW, for it's a multi-steps process....

Thanks, that was what I was after, I obviously didn't word it correctly. Now I just have to remember all this for next time.
