How do I disable popups messages in DIM?

this message has popped up 3 times today in DIM. I never used to get these. I close it each time and each time it comes back. I don't want to upgrade as rendering is significantly faster in DS 4.16 than in any newer version of DS. If ending DAZ connect or central or whatever its called, means that now you're going to start bombarding us with messages in DIM, then I"m just gonna have to do all manual installs. I don't want any Daz messages popping up at me unless you're giving me a free shopping spree.

Same question ~~ or when will it disappear from there...
It's from 1.4.1.69, Now Available! (*UPDATED*), In-App Notification was moved from RTD page to the top ? However, nothing related was mentioned in change log.
The top one and the one that appears under downloads are separate, and have both been prsent (if not necessarily used) since the first version with the feature. They cannot be permanently closed (edit: though any given message at the top can be closed, and will stay gone until a message with a different ID is rotated in).
I get that banner even though I've already upgraded to 4.22. I just clicked on the x and I'm pretty sure it dappeared.
The message doesn't stay gone though, it will reappear if you leave DIM open, usually within a few minutes. And if you do a manual refresh by clicking that button at the top, it reappears right away. So they need to reconfigure it so it dissappears until a new message like you said, but that's not how its currently set up. I don't usually spend this much time in DIM, but yesterday and today I'm building a lot of scenes for a VN, and so I"m in there all day long, its a PITA.
Have you tried covering it up with Liquid Paper?
It seems that the ID changed - the system doesn't read the message, it just looks at the ID code.
This all works on push - on stuff the store sends. It doesn't know what you have isntalled or not, and may not be fine-grained enough to know what you have downloaded. The data/information with Daz tools is usually from Daz to you - it dosn't send private information back to daz, except as needed to do things you ask it to do (e.g. log in to the site).
Can confirm the message doesn't remove when X-ing it, it just briefly hides for about a minute and then promptly reappears. The bright orange nature of it is super distracting, I'm very much hoping there's actually going to be a way to remove it. Otherwise the X is pointless.
What makes it slightly more aggregious is that is appears to be an advertising spot now. Rather than telling me about an update I already have, it's instead pleading me to check out some black Friday deals.
Maybe Daz could come out with a paid monthly subscription for DIM and/or DS that would disable advertisements.
