GoZ Zbrush Workflow: Cannot Autogroup with UV

I selected my G9 in Studio, then sent it to Zbrush via GoZ. Model was at base resolution.

In Zbrush, G9 shows up fine, but when I go into Polygroups and select Auto Groups with UV, nothing happens. Nothing good, anyway. Either ZBrush freezes up,or it doesn't, but either way, the polygroups are not highlighted as represented in this old tutorial.

The words "Auto Groups with UV" do not even light up when the button is clicked on, they remains greyed out.

And I'm running Zbrush 2023 1.1 in Windows 10 on an i9 with 64 GB of RAM, so it shouldn't be a system issue. What am I doing wrong?

Not sure what you are or you are not doing but it works fine for me in ZBrush 2022

Should be pretty simple with no problem... - pls check and see if there's any difference on your side, as per the video : https://mega.nz/file/7eADWbpb#FuizNq3mZ8CDZhIpm98wlD46TakO_XVM8sgkX6y6SZk

  • Eureka! Thanks to you both. I see what my problem was. Auto Groups are only color displayed if the PolyF (the button just under Rotate on the rignt hand side) is also clicked on.Mine was turned off, so I wasn't see any changes being made.

If I may ask a followup question: with autogroups now on, can I select and work on one polygroup at a time?
