EP's Carrara Freebies

Hi all!

This thread is to highlight some of my Carrara freebies at ShareCG.

Ironically, it was playing around with modifying some shaders I created for V4 and modifying them to work on an even older figure that inspired me to get off my kiester and start this thread.

Without further ado, this is the latest addition to my ShareCG account:

It's a procedural skin set for Aiko 3, with included dynamic hair and eyebrows.

So, what does, "procedural," mean? Well, in this context, it is a multi-domain skin shader built completely with mixers, multipliers, noise functions, color gradients, etc. with no image maps, save for two, which are black and white and act kind of like masks to soften the edges between the nipple/torso shader domains and the lips/face shader domains. They contribute in no way to bump, color, highlight/shininess, etc.

Since there are no image maps, I needed eyebrows and lashes, so I used Carrara's hair system to "grow" them on A3.

My Promo pictures have no postwork, except to convert to .jpg for the forum. Clothing not included!

This is articulated string of Carrara Holiday lights is a bit more seasonable.

It utilizes replicated light fixtures/bulbs with Carrara bulb lights.

This is a War of the Worlds, George Pal inspired model of a Martian War Machine.

The Carrara scene file includes the rigged War Machine, a particle emitter, lights and procedural shaders.

The two images are for a Carrara Monthly Challenge which focused on pulp magazines. One has minimal postwork, and the other is the pulp magazine cover.
