Cannot scan or search for content no more DAZ 4.9

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

So I checked the DIM and saw 4.9 and installed. It overwrote my 4.8 installation and everything seemed to work. however when I opened my program I can see all of the content and load it, but cannot do any search on it and I cannot scan the mapped content directories anymore. Its greyed out, see attached file. Can someone please help me

    It was disabled in 4.8.1.99

    Disabled “Scan Known Directories for Files…” action to prevent conflicts with DzCloud

    but has been reenabled in 4.9.0.31 (not yet released)

    Re-enabled “Scan Known Directories for Files…” action

    So no, it isn't working in the current beta but that will change.

    4.9 is a Beta version, and can only be installed by DIM.   It does not affect DS4.8 if it is already installed, so you should still have it installed

    Wait a minute, is this an update from 4.8.0.59? If so, why doesn't it show in DIM?

    The numbers get incremented every build, even if the build never leaves the office (probably even if the buld fails to complete). All those 4.8.x.x builds after 4.8.0.59 were internal and/or Private beta builds, not released to the public
