What is Daz Studio 4.5?

I am in the process of getting reacquainted with Daz Studio. I downloaded it as version 4.21, had some content install confusion and uninstalled it and reinstalled it. By that time the new version 4.22 was the available download. It is much slower than 4.21 had been but I learned there wasn't a way to download the previous version in my product library. It didn't even show up in there. But... to my confusion, there is a 4.5 version. Okay...??

Is 4.5 older than 4.2? What do I gain or lose if I download that version instead?

I just want to play with Daz Studio again!!! crying

What advice can anyone give me? I sent a ticket to the help desk... but sometimes I get a quicker answer here, so... Can someone advise? I need advice. Thank you. heart

    The DS 4.5 was the first release of current development version, it was released 16th of August 2012.

    It's an old version. They're not decimals. It's Major verson 4, minor version 5 (or 22). So 5 is older than 22.
