Interactive license related question

Hi everyone,

I want to eventually make an animated series commercially on YouTube by just using sequencer side of unreal engine. Do I need any interactive license in order to use any assets for an animated videos or will the standard license be sufficient? Does the software matter, as long as it's a 2-D image render/ rendered videos?  Even though I have no intentions on making/selling video game? Is it still considered distributing or Interactive if it's on a platform with YouTube to warrant an interactive license? I'm asking because I am new to the animation thing and I want to be safe than sorry. Whatever answers will be most appreciated.

  • You don't need the interactive license for a video. It's only for when you are making something where the 3d mesh could be extracted.
