MDL color value is ignored in shader mixer?

    The usual syntax is

    color BaseColor  = color(.4)

    I'm not sure if the behavior is different using the syntax you have, but you might give it a try.

    In addition, if you use annotations (the anno:: syntax you see in the DAZ provided MDL shaders), Shader Mixer will "do the right thing" when you wire it up.
