Search function for forums

This issue happens on my iPhone - haven't tried it on a computer yet. While in the forum I tap the magnifying glass and then the search bar appears with "search forum" in faint grey letters. I type something in and tap "Go," but it gives me search results from the store, not from the forum. Is this a known problem? I would have searched the forum to find out, but..........

    site:www.daz3d.com/forums as one  of the search terms. Though the forum search is searching the forum for me.

    Ok, so I went to Google just now and searched:

    site:www.daz3d.com/forums forum search function

    That worked really well, and, as it turns out, many people over the years have in fact posted questions to the forums about problems with the forum search function.

    In switching to a new forum software, it used to be much worse for a while. I haven't tried it in quite some time. I just got used to using Google instead
